Alexandre Dumas' Three Musketeers: when East meets West (2 May 2026)

On 2 May, our members enjoyed exclusive access to the ambitious production of "Alexandre Dumas' Three Musketeers: When East meets West" at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. As a proud sponsor of this cross-cultural collaboration between the Alliance Française de Hong Kong and the HKAPA, LLDPHK provided members with complimentary tickets to experience a unique fusion of cinema and live performance. The event featured a reimagining of Henri Diamant-Berger’s 1921 silent film, brought to life through original music conducted by French composer Béatrice Thiriet and a dynamic stage adaptation by Artistic Director Tang Shu-wing. This successful union of French cinematic history and contemporary Hong Kong performance perfectly exemplified our mission of fostering vibrant Sino-French cultural synergy.
