"Hong Kong to Paris" VIP Dinner and Private Guided Tour (3 June 2025)

Les Lumières de Paris Hong Kong Chapter, in collaboration with Boogie Woogie Photography and Alliance Française de Hong Kong, is delighted to share highlights from the exclusive "Hong Kong to Paris" VIP Dinner and Private Guided Tour, held on 3 June 2025. This captivating photography exhibition showcased the artistic legacies of Raymond Cauchetier and Rémi de Laquintane, two French photographers united by their adventurous spirit and storytelling prowess. Cauchetier’s 1954 snapshots of Hong Kong offer a striking glimpse into its colonial and Chinese vibrancy, while de Laquintane’s 2024 train journey from Hong Kong to Paris—spanning 17,000 kilometers over 15 days—weaves a personal narrative of tranquility amid modernity. The private tour, reserved for LLDPHK members, was followed by an elegant aperitif and a distinguished VIP dinner with Rémi de Laquintane himself, fostering enriching cultural exchange between Hong Kong and Paris.
