Burgundy Wine Dinner (27 Sep 2023)
On 27 September 2023, our members were delighted to attend our exclusive Burgundy Wine Dinner, hosted by Mrs. Wendy Siu, President of Les Lumières de Paris, Hong Kong Chapter; with Guest of Honor and Honorary member, Dr. Henry Tang; and the presence of Mr. Anthony Wu, Grand Seneschal of Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin. Over the course of the evening, we were privileged to have Dr. Henry Tang to share his wine collecting and tasting experience.
Although the event was previously rescheduled due to the typhoon, our members were happy to celebrate with us ahead of the Mid-Autumn
Festival, and we had a full house of guests. Our members tasted the best premier cru, including vintages in magnum and jeroboam, specially
selected by the wine experts at Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin. The wines were offered alongside deliciously crafted French cuisine
particularly arranged by the Carlyle and Co. Club.
The lively, convivial atmosphere of the evening embodied our Institute's purpose of promoting friendship through cultural exchange. We look forward to welcoming our members to similarly special, exclusive events in the future!
